A Legal Videographer (also known as forensic videographer, court videographer, or court video reporter) produces legal videos.
Legal videography is far more than just video recording depositions with a "talking head" shot. Much to the contrary, Legal Videography
encompasses the video taping of: scenes of incidents, proof of damages, evidence of insurance fraud, video wills and pre-nuptial agreements,
day-in-the-life documentaries, pre-construction video surveys, settlement documentaries, and much more. Video evidence has expedited court
hearings a great deal and is the real solution to eliminating the months of delay in getting a civil case to trial.
I am a certified legal videographer through the American Guild of Court Videographers (AGCV). Recognizing the requirements of Rule 30 of
the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules 1001-1008 - Article X of the Federal Rules of Evidence, State and District Court rules, and
understanding there are certain things which cannot be included in legal video evidence that will be introduced into a trial, the AGCV has
dedicated itself to training professional legal videographers in all aspects of video recording visual evidence, including the final
preparation of the evidence so that it cannot be impeached and thrown out of court.
I am proud to be a Professional Videographer specializing in Legal Video with certification from the American Guild of Court Videographers.
